Sewing for Byzantium--The Mantion

I've finally bitten the bullet and bought the wool from which I plan to make my mantion (i.e., cloak). I bought it from a vendor on EBay who trades as "The Wool Connection." You can see a picture of it here. I'll take my own picture of it for display on this blog after I receive it (which I expect won't take more than a few days). I plan to trim it with strips of dark blue silk, which I've had for a while now and of which I will eventually also post a picture.
