Queen Margareta's Golden Fabric

I learned from a post to one of the mailing lists I frequent about the decision of Uppsala Cathedral to begin to sell, in the cathedral gift shop, fabric printed to look like the fabric from which the gold silk lampas gown of Queen Margareta is made.  The pattern will be in the same scale as the original pattern, and the fabric will come in two colors; gold with red (like the original) and silver with blue. It will come in silk or cotton.  For more information, the article about this development (with pictures!) can be found here.

I am not planning to attempt to purchase any of this fabric, since Queen Margareta's gown was made in the early 15th century and I have no use for making such a garment.  Moreover, 15th century Europe is relatively far from my current costuming interests.  But I think it's neat that the Cathedral is making fabric of this design (and it is a beautiful design) available to the public.
